Smile Delivery was founded in April of 2010 by Sondra Duvall and Dara Smith because of a strong desire to bring a “smile” to children with life-threatening illnesses. For Smile Delivery, a “smile” means kind words of encouragement, gifts, cards, and most importantly, prayers.

We understand what an act of love and kindness can do to lift a child’s spirit. When Sondra’s son, James, was diagnosed with leukemia in January of 2006, many people came forward to help during that difficult time. Because of James’ unimaginable journey, we are inspired to help others by providing comfort, strength, and hope to hospitalized children facing life-threatening illnesses.

We are in our 8th year of helping kids with life-threatening illnesses and we are looking forward to many more! We are based out of Watson, LA., but we help kids all throughout Louisiana. When we visit with each family, we make sure they feel loved and not alone, especially during such a difficult time in their life. All the work we do would not be possible without your support.
